Real Madrid on the verge of winning the title after winning in Pamplona

Pamplona (dpa) – The Spanish soccer record champion Real Madrid is rushing towards the 35th title in the Primera División. The royals won 3-1 (2-1) at CA Osasuna and can only theoretically be intercepted after 33 of 38 games played.

Second-placed Atlético Madrid are already hopelessly 17 points behind. FC Barcelona are third with 18 points fewer than Real but still have two more games to play than the two Madrid clubs.

Former Munich player David Alaba (12th minute), Marco Asensio (45th) and Lucas Vázquez (90th + 6th) scored for Real, Karim Benzema also missed two penalties (51st / 58th). Ante Budimir (13th) had equalized in the meantime.
