In my opinion, Bellingham also deserved the Kopa Award. I find it a bit incomprehensible that he ended up on 4, but in the end it doesn’t matter who is 2-4 anyway. Gavi is already a deserved winner. Camavinga and Musiala have only had a handful of good games and together they are just about the playing time that Bellingham and Gavi each had last year. So in my opinion it could only go through Gavi or Bellingham.
Goalkeeper is the choice of Courtois, I think undisputedly, for me actually the main reason why Real Madrid won the Champions League.
The Club Award is all about which team had the most players on the shortlist (Top50). Given that City is full of great players, it’s actually not that surprising that they won here.
And after last year, there could hardly have been any other winner than Karim Benzema for the Ballon D’or, because otherwise nobody else has really delivered properly. Personally, I would have treated De Bruyne very well, but Benzema has had a great year.
