Real Madrid have invested €120m since 2018 in three Brazilian talents who were 18 at the time of their transfer – from then on FIFA will allow transfers from South America to Europe, for example. If the “Royal” have their way, Endrick, now 15, is set to follow in the footsteps of Vinicius Junior (21), Rodrygo (21) and Reinier (20) in the summer of 2024.
According to consistent media reports from Spain, including the “mark‘, and Brazil are already courting Real and FC Barcelona, as they did with Vinicius Junior, for the favor of the striker, who caused a sensation with the U20 selection from Palmeiras São Paulo. As soon as Endrick, who was born in the capital Brasília, celebrates his 16th birthday on July 21, 2022, he is to receive a three-year contract with his training club. By then it could already be clear which European heavyweight has secured its services.

Before Endrick’s pro debut: Disneyland for Real Madrid & FC Barcelona goal
Endrick’s senior debut is not far off, but the two-time Copa Libertadores winner won’t be taking his jewel with him for the trip to the Club World Cup in early February. Coach Abel Ferreira said: “He’s 15, a kid. I look at these players and I like giving them time to themselves. I think Palmeiras’ management are good at managing these young players – they’re doing an excellent job.” (quoted via “forbes“).
Endrick, meanwhile, is with Palmeiras in the final of the Copinha, a football tournament for under-20 teams that has produced many later stars in Brazil. “Sooner or later he will play in the first team. At 15, God willing, he will win the Copinha and the best thing the club can do is give him and his family tickets to Disneyland…” Ferreira said.
