Real Madrid won the Champions League as ever. It was hot in the city duel against Atlético. In parallel, ex-BVB coach Peter Bosz went under with Eindhoven.
They are and remain the most ripped off team in Europe: Real Madrid narrowly, but deservedly struck city rival Atlético in the round of 16 of the Champions League. In the end it was called 2-1 (1: 1) for the “royal” in the Estadio Santiago Santiago Bernabéu in the Spanish capital.
The acclaimed winning goal made Reals Brahim Díaz in the 55th minute. Previously, his team -mate Rodrygo (4th) and Atlético Argentinian world champion Julian Álvarez (32nd) met. With the victory, Real has good chances in the second leg next Wednesday at the city rival (from 9 p.m. in the LiveTicker from T-Online) and reaching the quarter-finals.
There is most likely the Arsenal, which in his round of 16 of his favorite role, was more than just a justice: the English top team won 7: 1 (3-1) at PSV Eindhoven and ex-BVB coach Peter Bosz and took a big step towards the quarterfinals. Arsenal rolled over the Dutch in the first half.
Jurrien Timber (18th), Ethan Nwaneri (21st) and Mikel Merino (31st) met, Noa Lang (43./Foulelfmeter) scored the goal for Eindhoven shortly before the break.
But it didn’t get any better: Martin Ödegaard (47th, 73rd), Leandro Trossard (48th) and Riccardo Calafiori (85th) provided the further goals and disillusionment at PSV.
