Most expensive deal of the summer
Now it’s fixed: Real Madrid have signed Aurélien Tchouameni from AS Monaco. As the “Royal” announced, the 22-year-old defensive midfielder signed a contract for the next six years. The impending transfer has been reported for days. According to the transfer expert Fabrizio Romano the French international, who was originally tied to the Monegasque until 2024, will have to pay a fee of 80 million euros plus 20 million euros in possible bonuses. This makes him the most expensive player so far this summer, replacing Erling Haaland, who remains the top transfer by market value.
