In the 2022 FIFA Club World Cup final, Spanish team Real Madrid won the championship by beating Saudi Arabia’s Al-Hilal team 5-3.
In the final match played at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat, the capital of Morocco, UEFA Champions League champion Real Madrid and Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Champions League last champion Al-Hilal faced off.
Vinicius Junior in the 13th and 69th minutes, Federico Valverde in the 18th and 58th minutes and Karim Benzema in the 54th minute scored the goals that brought Real Madrid the victory.
El-Hilal’s goals came from Moussa Marega in the 26th minute and Luciano Vietto in the 63rd and 79th minutes.
The Spanish team has won the title for the fifth time after 2014, 2016, 2017 and 2018.
In the third place match, Brazilian representative Flamengo, coached by Vitor Pereira, defeated Egypt’s El-Ehli team 4-2.
