Real Madrid have won the Club World Cup for the fifth time in club history. The Spanish record champions were 5-3 (2-1) winners in the final against Saudi representatives Al-Hilal Saudi FC in the Moroccan capital Rabat.

Vinicius Junior (13′) and Federico Valverde (18′) put the “Royal” on the road to victory early on with a double strike, before Moussa Marega (26′) reduced the lead to 1: 2 in the meantime. After the half-time break, two more goals within a few minutes ensured that Real pulled away: Karim Benzema (54th) and Valverde again (58th) scored. Luciano Vietto (63rd) scored the final point with the 2:4 from Al-Hilal’s point of view, Vinicius Junior (69th) and Vietto again.
