It has never been so difficult to find a home in Flanders. Renting a house for the first time costs on average more than a thousand euros. Due to a limited supply on the market, more and more real estate agents are confronted with aggressive behavior from frustrated or disappointed prospective tenants. This is evident from research by one of the largest real estate agencies in our country. They say we are not heading towards a rental crisis, but that we are in the middle of it.
