Following the supermarket incident—where she assaulted staff and received a conviction—there has been immense pressure on Glennis during her media appearances. Every word she spoke, every laugh, and every statement was scrutinized. Questions arose: Was she sufficiently remorseful? Did she sound genuine? Was she too defensive or overly confident? These concerns added to her anxiety.

Afraid of Live TV

The usual rules of an interview do not apply when your career is hanging by a thread, and Glennis was acutely aware of this reality. Transitioning to live television, where editing is impossible and a single misstep can instantly go viral, was a monumental leap for her. For a long time, she battled a fear of live TV, as she shared in an interview with Weekend.

Reflecting on her past, Glennis stated, “I find TV interviews very scary, especially when they are live. Looking back at footage, it’s clear I was terrified. You have almost no time to think about the answers you need to give, which makes you incredibly vulnerable. You must pay such close attention!”

Finding Peace

Now, she’s in a better place, feeling more at ease with interviews, even from top personalities like Eva Jinek. “I’ve found much more peace in this. Everything will be okay,” she said confidently. This newfound calm allows her to reclaim her narrative as she reflects on the chaotic period surrounding the supermarket incident.

Looking forward, Glennis has moved on from the Jumbo chapter. “I have a new song coming out. I don’t know when yet, but likely sometime in the fall. The lyrics will very much resonate with my life and hopefully be something that people can relate to,” she expressed with optimism.

Overall, Glennis Grace’s journey through the shadows of her past has brought resilience and hope. As she steps back into the limelight, her story serves as a reminder that challenges can lead to growth and transformation.
