Read, watch and listen: this is how you follow the Tour at the AD | Tour de france

Cycling is, in addition to football and Formula 1, a sport that the AD pays a lot of attention to during the season. The Tour de France is the annual highlight. How do you follow the Tour de France via the newspaper and the website?

In AD Sportwereld four pages (and often more on Saturdays) are reserved for the Tour de France every day. The AD Tour reporters Daniël Dwarswaard and Daan Hakkenberg report from Spain and France in the form of news and background stories and interviews. These articles (under the name Premium) also appear on the site.

Columns

In the newspaper and on the site you can also read the five times a week column by Thijs Zonneveld. On Tuesday, former cycling pro Laurens ten Dam is the columnist.

Video and podcast

Thijs Zonneveld is also, together with Hidde van Warmerdam and Michiel Elijzen, the face and voice of the video broadcasts and podcasts that can be seen and listened to daily via the site.

The podcast by In The Wheel is held twice a day: every morning from 6 a.m. the Preview and every evening around 7 p.m. the Retrospective.

At 7 a.m. you can watch the video preview of In Het Wiel on the site, so that you know what awaits the riders that day. After the start and after the finish, short videos will follow with the first reactions of riders. At the end of the Tour day, a complete Tour Update will be broadcast at 8.30 pm on AD Play with a summary of the stage, analysis and reactions. You’ll be up to speed in an instant.

Live blog and results

Via the site you can follow the stage and the latest Tour news from minute to minute in the live blog. You can also find all the complete ones online results and standings.
