On its fifteenth anniversary, the fair “Read and Eat” will take place on Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 October, from 12 noon, in the Plaza del MALBA. The gastronomic and literary meeting, which has already become a classic in the City of Buenos Aires and was declared of National Tourist Interest, moves to Figueroa Alcorta and Salguero, in the Republic of Peru Square.
Jorge Lanata, Ferran Adrià, Jorge Fernández Díaz, Daniel López Rosetti, Damián Betular, Claudia Piñeiro, Fernando Trocca, Martín Pittaluga, Nicola Costantino, Gonzalo Aramburu, Leandro Erlich, Federico Andahazi, Marcelo Birmajer, Pablo Sirvén, Eduardo Torresamong others, will be the protagonists of the literary activities that will be offered to the public.
The event will consist of editorial stands, thematic talks and book presentations, both on the main stage of the square and in the MALBA library. With free admission, the meeting will have a gourmet proposal that includes French, Arabic, Mexican, Norwegian and regional food, with vegetarian, vegan and TACC-free options.
“Art for the uninformed” is the talk that the journalist Jorge Lanata will take place on Saturday at 8:00 p.m., accompanied by Gabriel Levinasin the library of MALBA .The same day, at 5:00 p.m., the writer Claudia Pineiro will present his new book “The Time of the Flies” on the main stage of the fair. On Sunday, “The art of eating” by Ferran Adrià, moderated by Luis Majulwithin the museum facilities.
The culinary accompaniment will be enjoyed with the foodtrucks for two days, offering an ideal proposal to visit with family and friends. Some of the mobile stores that will be present are: Margin Del Mundo Café, Dulceando Artesanal, Shami, La Racletteria, Pizza Puni, El Hornero, Uría Burger, Just Yellow, The Black, Tres Fuegos, Bon Bouquet Kanka, Shappa, Pablo Buzzo, Lo de Gauna Cocina, San Genaro and Madame Papin.
Furthermore, the recognized Milo Lockett invite all the boys to participate “Paint with Milo”. An activity in which they will be able to paint a work, together with the renowned plastic artist, and that they will be able to win through a raffle. The closing of both days will be enjoyed with pure music, at dusk the DJs Ale Lacroix and Choppe Davila, residents of radio berlin.
