Fenerbahçe Club shared a post about Ankaragücü President Faruk Koca entering the field and punching referee Halil Umut Meler at the end of the Çaykur Rizespor match.
In the post made by the yellow-dark blue club, the following expressions were used: “We condemn in the strongest terms all those who are responsible for what happened and who show this attitude.”

“THAT HAPPENED IS UNACCEPTABLE”
“We followed the attack on referee Halil Umut Meler in the Ankaragücü-Rizespor match played this evening with astonishment, surprise and sadness.
We wish Halil Umut Meler to get well soon. We condemn in the strongest terms all those who are responsible for these events and who display this attitude.
“We invite all stakeholders of Turkish football, all individuals and institutions responsible, to act together regarding this incident that does not suit our country and Turkish football.”
