RBB management discloses salaries

In response to internal and public pressure, the RBB management has disclosed its salaries and bonus payments.

According to BZ information, the broadcaster published a list of salaries and “performance-related remuneration” for employees on the company’s intranet on Wednesday evening.

Legal director, program director, and production and operations director salaries were listed. The bonuses totaled a six-digit amount.

The remuneration in detail

Annual remuneration of RBB directors 2022

► Administrative director: 230,000 euros

► Legal Directorate 198,900 euros

► Production and operations director: 196,000 euros

► Program director: 215,425 euros

Performance-related remuneration for RBB directors in 2021/22

► Administrative director: 30,738 euros

► Legal Directorate 39,195 euros

► Production and operations director: 38,144 euros

► Program director: 30,915 euros

That means using the example of the administrative director: in 2022 there was an annual basic salary of 230,000 euros for him. In addition, there is the payment from a variable bonus system in the amount of 30,738 euros for a year 2021/2022.

That’s on top of that: The members of the management receive a car allowance of 500 € gross per month.

In addition, they receive a flat-rate expense allowance of €250 per month, free of tax and social security contributions.

RBB boss Patricia Schlesinger (61) is to be recalled on Monday – because of billing fraud.  At least 20 members of the Broadcasting Council must vote for it

AND: For the period of the ARD chairmanship, the members of the management received additional remuneration of €1,700 gross per month until July 31, 2022, reports rbb24.de.

► Means: Administrative director Hagen Brandstätter, currently managing director, collects a total of 281,638 euros this year – almost as much as Schlesinger’s basic salary (303,000 euros).
