RB Leipzig’s Josko Gvardiol has been taken to hospital after a collision in the game against SC Freiburg. According to the club, further investigations are to take place there.
The Croatian international, who has been nominated for the World Cup in Qatar, collided with captain Willi Orban after about 20 minutes.
Gvardiol left the pitch after a long treatment with a bleeding wound and went straight to the dressing room. A diagnosis should be announced after a thorough examination.
