National soccer player David Raum apparently injured his ankle while on vacation.
According to information from “Bild”, the left-back from Bundesliga club RB Leipzig twisted his ankle during leisure football in the Maldives.
After returning from vacation shortly before Christmas, the 24-year-old was examined several times, and the medical department ordered “absolute rest” for Raum’s foot.
According to the report, it is not yet clear whether the 15-time DFB player will be able to travel to the training camp in Abu Dhabi (January 2 to 11) with the Saxons.
