National soccer player Lukas Klostermann sees his future with DFB Cup winners RB Leipzig.
“In preparation I will serve normally,” announced the defender. Klostermann only played 15 league games last season due to an injury in the first half of the season (ruptured syndesmose).
The last year was difficult, also because he came from an injury, said the 27-year-old: “In the last few weeks I’ve played a lot and feel good in the team. The topic has been heated up quite a bit.”
Klostermann’s contract runs until June 2024. He is currently preparing with the national team on the DFB campus in Frankfurt/Main for the 1000th international match on Monday (6:00 p.m.) in Bremen against Ukraine.
