RB Leipzig lends goalkeeper talent Tim Schreiber to Holstein Kiel

I think it makes sense for all three sides.

> Kiel gets a young goalkeeping talent with a good third division season in the bones. That fits the club’s strategy, especially since there is a need for the position anyway. This ensures healthy competition between Dähne and Schreiber at a low financial cost to Kiel.

> Leipzig can sit back and relax and watch writers. In the best case scenario, a good and still young second division keeper will come back to Saxony in 2024. Whether he is good enough for Leipzig or not is not important at all. If so, all the better (but unlikely due to Leipzig’s ambitions). If not, Leipzig can at least claim that its own academy is finally producing good output.

> Schreiber is the biggest beneficiary. He gets the chance to present himself and assert himself in the House of Commons for 2 years. In the worst case, if things don’t go well and he stays on the bench, he will still be interesting for ambitious third division teams. If things go well and he collects stakes, in the best case even becomes a regular player, he will be in great demand on the transfer market in 2024.
Anyway, he can now invest everything and work on his development without much pressure.

Looks like a very well thought out and smart career plan at Schreiber and Leipzig. Good luck in Kiel
