RB Leipzig is the first Bundesliga club to go to court against the current spectator limit for home games in Saxony. Currently only 1,000 spectators allowed

RB Leipzig is currently only allowed to let 1,000 fans into the Red Bull Arena, which has a capacity of more than 44,000. The protection ordinance currently valid for Saxony is valid until February 6th. A new version of the regulation, which is to be passed next week, again provides for a limit of 1,000 fans. In other federal states such as Bavaria or Saxony-Anhalt, significantly more spectators are allowed into the stadiums.
