RB Leipzig gives homegrown Tim Köhler a professional contract

In training since summer

RB Leipzig has given homegrown central defender Tim Köhler a professional contract. The 18-year-old signed a new working paper until June 30, 2026 and will initially continue to play for the U19, for which he has made 32 appearances (three goals) so far.

Köhler, who has been active for Leipzig since 2014, has been training regularly with the RB professionals since the summer and also traveled to the training camp in preparation. Coach Marco Rose also called him up to the matchday squad three times.
