Lawn ball sport Leipzig will get a new top scorer in the summer of 2023. The special thing: He comes (once again) from Salzburg.
Striker Benjamin Šeško is moving from Salzburg to Rasenballsport Leipzig. The 19-year-old will come to Saxony in the summer of 2023 and will be given a five-year contract. The clubs announced this on Tuesday. Šeško is already the 19th player to move from the Mozart city to Leipzig.
The Slovenian national player has belonged to Salzburg since 2019 and was loaned out to sister club FC Liefering for two years. Last season he stormed for Salzburg, scored 5 goals in 24 league games and prepared 3 more. Šeško is considered a huge talent, so Manchester United were also reportedly interested.
