RB Leipzig and Bayer 04 Leverkusen are among the clubs with the best development opportunities for young players in Germany. In terms of Europe, Ajax Amsterdam is one of the flagships in this category, but one talent is looking to leave the Eredivisie series champions for better game-time prospects. According to information from Transfermarkt, Skye Vink is considering a move to one of the two Bundesliga clubs.
The 16-year-old centre-forward made 19 appearances for Ajax’s U17s last season, scoring six goals and providing four assists. The son of former Dutch national player Marciano Vink is scheduled for the U18s in the coming season – but would like to increase the chance of playing with the pros.
Both at Leipzig and at Leverkusen, Vink was shown a better and faster perspective, as Transfermarkt found out from the player environment. Both clubs want to bring the right foot, who was a central defender until three years ago and only then became an attacker, into their own youth department. In the event of a change, a small training compensation would be due.
