The debut album of the singer, “You had to know how happy I am,” appeared in 1973. Meanwhile, the Groenewoud is more than fifteen studio albums, five live albums and a dozen collection plates further. With his music, the singer also won various prizes. For example, he received two gold records, a MIA, a career prize at Sabam, a golden honorary medal of the Flemish Parliament and he was included in the Radio2 Honor Call.
Van het Groenewoud will be on Saturday 16 May in Trixxo Theater Hasselt and on Wednesday 27 May in the Concertgebouw Brugge. He closes his series in the Capitole in Ghent on Saturday 6 June.
