Ravage on A2, caravan completely tattered after accident between two cars

An accident between two cars, one with a caravan, caused havoc on the A2 near Leende on Saturday. The accident happened in the direction of Eindhoven. One person was injured, parts of the caravan were scattered across the highway.

The accident happened around eight o’clock. The car and caravan turned out to belong to a German family. One of them suffered a broken rib, this person was taken to hospital.

The other car ended up on its side. The occupants of that car escaped unharmed. The fire brigade assisted with clearing the road surface. Initially, the highway in the direction of Eindhoven was completely closed. Later, one free lane was cleared for traffic.

There was a traffic jam as far as Weert-Noord.
