Rauf Altıntak, the master artist of the Traditional Turkish Theatre, passed away. The actor, who died at the age of 76, will be buried today.
The statement made by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) City Theaters said, “We are saddened by the loss of our esteemed artist, Rauf Altıntak, one of the masters of our traditional theatre. We express our condolences to his grieving family, all his fans and the Turkish Theatre.”
A ceremony will be held for Rauf Altıntak at Harbiye Muhsin Ertuğrul Stage at 10:30 today. The master will be buried in the Kireçburnu Cemetery after the funeral prayer that will be held after the noon prayer in Sarıyer Kireçburnu Mosque.
