Except in goal, Rashaan Fernades played pretty much all positions in Telstar’s team this season. He did so well that Go Ahead Eagles will take him over on a free transfer this summer. In Deventer, he signs a contract until mid-2025.
In 2019, the former Feyenoord player switched from FC Twente to Telstar. Even then, Go Ahead showed interest. Fernandes developed well in Velsen-South. In the aborted corona season, he played 14 league games, 5 of which were in the starting lineup.
Last year he started 19 times in the starting line-up and the multifunctional footballer recorded 8 raids. In the current season he made no minutes in only 2 matches.
