Rapid Wien definitively takes over Ferdy Druijf from AZ. The 24-year-old striker from Uitgeest has been playing for the Austrian club on a rental basis since last February. Druijf still had a contract in Alkmaar until mid-2025.
The attacker started in the youth academy of AZ in 2012 and made his debut in 2018 in the first team in the Willem II match. He made forty games for AZ and was accurate six times.
Druijf was leased to KV Mechelen twice in 2021. In February 2022, he transferred to Rapid Wien on a rental basis, where he scored six times in thirteen games.
