Rape of Palermo, the youngest of the suspects returns to prison

It’s about an aggravation of the precautionary measure which on Saturday had been revoked by the investigating judge. In the meantime, numerous personalities from the entertainment world have taken a stand on social media against violence on women replying to the hashtag as a group #iononsonocarne. In fact, many have decided to “put their face” by demonstrating their support for the 19-year-old victim of the abuse in Palermo and for all the other women who have suffered similar episodes of violence: from Alessio Boni to Maria Grazia Cucinotta, from Alessandro Preziosi to Caterina Balivo and Nicoletta Romanoff, from Elonoire Casalegno to Samantha de Grenet.

The initiative was launched on the Instagram page of Fab!, referring to a message sent in the chat by one of the seven suspects for the gang rape of Palermo, who had tried to justify his actions with words “meat is meat”. ”’Meat is meat’ is not the justification that a 20-year-old has given himself, it is the phrase that he has heard a thousand times from the adults in his life – fathers, mothers, grandparents, uncles, family friends”, reads the caption of the post that launched the hashtag “We at Fab, together with F and the director Luca Dini, rebel against those who reduce the prey to a piece of meat to be raped and the predator to another piece of meat enslaved by their instincts”.
