Raoul Servais turns 94: a look back at his career as a short film maker

Raoul Servais is considered the pioneer of the animated film. He has won more than 60 international awards, including the 1979 Golden Palm for his short film ‘Harpya’. The war is a theme that often recurs in the work of Raoul Servais, who experienced the war as a child.

An exhibition of his work will open later this month. His new short film will be released in the autumn.
