Rangers and Queen South clashed in the second round match of the Scottish League Cup. The home team won the match 3-1 at the Ibrox Stadium and became the side that advanced.
Robbie Ure in the 10th minute and Scott Arfield in the 24th and 86th minutes scored the goals that brought the Rangers the victory. Queen South’s only goal came from Lee Connelly in the 17th minute.
