At the World Cup in Ramsau, Gyda Westvold Hansen confirmed her current top form and clearly won. Nathalie Armbruster came fourth as the best German.

Two Norwegians dominated the Nordic Combined World Cup in Ramsau. After the competition jump in the morning fell victim to the strong wind, we went to the cross-country ski trail with the result of the provisional competition jump on Thursday (December 14th). World Cup leader Gyda Westvold Hansen and her compatriot Ida Marie Hagen did not show any weakness there.

Nathalie Armbruster narrowly missed the podium

Westvold Hansen took an easy start-to-finish victory over the five kilometers. It was her third triumph in the third race. At the finish she was 42 seconds ahead of Ida Marie Hagen, who ran a lonely race in pursuit of her compatriot. The Finnish Minja Korhonen came third, 1:41.20 minutes behind the winner. Somewhat behind, 17-year-old Nathalie Armbruster (Kniebis) finished fourth as the best German (+2:00.80). She entered the trail in ninth place and made up five places.

Jenny Nowak loses ground

After the provisional competition jump, Jenny Novak still had the best starting position of all German women, only 26 seconds behind the woman in the yellow jersey. However, Novak quickly had to realize that today it wasn’t about a podium place, but that she had to move backwards. She finished eighth, 2:17.60 behind Westvold Hansen.
