On Monday, Rammstein played the first concert of their new European tour in Vilnius, Lithuania. It ended in shock!
After saying goodbye to the fans, singer Till Lindemann turned around, took a step – and suddenly fell down the stage! Other band members stared after him in shock, seeming to take a moment to realize what had happened. It is not clear whether the singer fell into a pit or a ramp.
Then relief: Shortly thereafter, the musicians boarded the elevator that carries them to the stage heaven – and Lindemann was there. He waved to the crowd, didn’t seem to be in much pain.
There is no official statement from the band about the fall. It is unclear whether the fall will affect the rest of the tour.
The concert was the start of Rammstein’s new European tour.
What’s on your ears? A total of 23 songs – three out of the last tour, five others in. I haven’t heard “Punish Me” live since 2001. “Toxic” is a live premiere.
And as a farewell, “Adieu” is guaranteed to arouse speculation again. But first there are eleven weeks of full Rammstein banging at concerts in Helsinki, Paris, Vienna, Lisbon, Budapest and of course Berlin (July 15, 16 and 18).
