The fact that Rammstein chose the Adlershofer Trudelturm for the cover artwork of their new album is a real statement.

By Konstantin Marrach

The scenes that took place in front of Dussmann on Friday night were almost unimaginable! Fans waited for hours in front of the Kulturkaufhaus to get hold of the new album by the Berlin cult band Rammstein.

Amazing in times of steadily declining CD sales and streaming. But also a sign that many people still want to hold authentic, handmade music with compact discs and covers in their hands.

The fact that Rammstein chose the Adlershofer Trudelturm for their front cover is also a wonderful homage to our city. I think this band, which has won fans all over the world, should be memorialized in Berlin.

And what better place than the Parkbühne Wuhlheide, where they played one of their most legendary concerts in 1998?

Hopefully Rammstein will stay with us for a long time. Anyway, I would miss her very much.
