Rammstein live in Leipzig: No admission with old tickets – Eventim also wants to help on site

Rammstein will be catching up on two postponed concerts from 2020 and 2021 in Leipzig next weekend (May 20 and 21). It has now been announced that all Eventim tickets will have to be downloaded again as the old tickets have lost their validity. Without updated credentials, fans could be denied access to the station. According to the “Mitteldeutsche Zeitung”, the reason for the chaos is that the Red Bull Arena, where the band performs, has since been renovated and seats have had to be reallocated. According to “Eventim”, all ticket buyers have already been notified.

Emergency team on duty

“For technical reasons, all tickets are affected, even those where nothing changes at all, such as standing room,” according to Eventim. In the event of an “emergency”, the organizers would deploy a team on site to take care of all fans with an old ticket. Since the difficult circumstances can lead to longer waiting times, all participants are asked to appear as early as possible. Admission to both concerts is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.

In their newsletter, Rammstein themselves explain:

“Admission to Leipzig is due to the stadium renovations only with one new e-ticket with the current show date of 2022!

All original tickets have lost their validity and no longer entitle you to entry on the day of the show! “Old” tickets cannot be exchanged on site!

The new tickets are in the Eventim account of the buyer available for download since the end of April 2022. Please print out your new tickets to see the show!”

The current Rammstein album “time‘ was released in April. The Neue-Deutsche-Härte-Band around Till Lindemann started their European tour on May 15th in Prague, the setlist of the evening can be found here. Recently, misinformation had spread that Rammstein had planned another tour for 2023. It is suspected that the wrong tour dates were circulated by Russian cybertrolls.
