Should there be an overall minimum age limit for top athletes who participate in senior competitions? After the doping riot around 15-year-old figure fighter Kamila Valieva at the Beijing Winter Games, the discussion took on a new dimension. The International Skating Union (ISU) annual congress kicks off in Thailand on Monday and one of the most sweeping proposals to be voted on is to gradually raise the age limit from 15 to 17 in senior competitions in speed skating and figure skating.
