The N386 between Tynaarlo and Zuidlaren is closed for one day longer than planned. Due to the heavy rain, the work is delayed and traffic will be diverted tomorrow.
The provincial road is expected to reopen to traffic at 6 a.m. tomorrow morning. The province of Drenthe has announced that the contractor expects to be able to reopen the entrance and exit of the N34 at the end of the afternoon. The disclaimer reads, weather permitting.
This weekend’s road works are part of a larger package of measures. The roundabouts and the cycle path at the N386 are also being tackled. The road will therefore be partially closed again from 26 to 30 September, then between Tynaarlo and Vries, and from 3 to 7 October work will be resumed at Vries. At Bunne, the road closes at 8pm on September 30 through 6pm on October 1.
