The workshop of car company Van Schijndel on the Molenrand in Gemert was reduced to ashes on Friday night. The fire was discovered around midnight. The flames shot out of the building.
To fight the fire, corps from all over Southeast Brabant and Brabant-North came to Gemert. The firefighters had the fire under control around noon.
Avoid skipping
The building on the Molenrand was destroyed, but the fire brigade was able to prevent the flames from spreading to a building next door.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
