Muse will play a Telekom Street Gig in Cologne on September 13th as part of the “Digital X” mega event. The show will also be broadcast live on Magenta TV, so fans can also watch from the comfort of their own home via the MagentaMusik website and social media channels.
The group formed in 1994 and has featured Matthew Bellamy (vocals, guitar), Dominic Howard (drums) and Chris Wolstenholme (bass, piano) from the start. Previously performing under the name Rocket Baby Dolls, they eventually changed their title to Muse after winning a local band battle in 1994.
Their first EP “Muse” was created in cooperation with Dennis Smith, who owned a recording studio in Cornwall. With their second EP “Muscle Museum” they first achieved great fame. They have released eight albums so far, the current SIMULATION THEORY dates from 2018. Most recently they released the single “Kill Or Be Killed” (2022).
