The popular jeans should not be missing this summer either. For this we have put together a denim collection full of ideas: bold, authentic and unique. All jeans have a cool look, are authentic in the wash and green at heart. This year, too, we source most of the cotton for the jeans from sustainable cotton cultivation. The denim fabrics surprise with their lightness and elasticity, the silhouettes vary from O-shapes, wide & long, cropped, relaxed, slim & short. Whether lovingly hand-stitched motifs, imaginative batik looks, new dip-dye effects or floral laser prints – every denim has its own personality.

LOW IMPACT
All of our jeans are manufactured “Low Impact”, which means that energy and thus CO2 emissions are demonstrably reduced during production. This is measured by the EIM score (Environmental Impact Measuring = measuring the environmental impact in points), which illuminates the following categories during production: water consumption, use of chemicals, energy consumption, health burden on workers
LESS WATER
Thanks to innovative dyeing processes such as Indigo Flow dyeing at our partner Orta, enormous amounts of water can be saved in jeans production. Furthermore, we make sure that all selected producers work with the most modern water treatment systems, so that as little fresh water as possible is used.
SUSTAINABLE FABRIC CONCEPTS
Raffaello Rossi has been a proud member of the BCI – the Better Cotton Initiative – since 2021. Together with the BCI, we are committed to improving cotton cultivation methods worldwide. Better Cotton is sourced through a mass balance system and is not physically traceable to the end product. See bettercotton.org/massbalance for details. We are committed to sourcing at least 50% of our cotton as Better Cotton by 2026. For premium denims, we work exclusively with fabric suppliers who are also members of Better Cotton.
SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
Our partners have been awarded the recognized BSCI, ZDHC and SMETA (SEDEX) seals, among others. In addition to ecological sustainability criteria, social sustainability criteria are also met. In this way, we pave the way for a future-oriented way of working in production in order to protect the environment and people.
