Rafael Nadal withdraws – bad boy Kyrgios to final

Spanish tennis star Rafael Nadal has been forced to withdraw from Friday’s Wimbledon singles semi-final with an abdominal injury. Thus, the tennis prodigy, Australia Nick Kyrgios advances to the first grand slam final of his career.

Nadal said he has a torn stomach muscle and would not be able to play two matches.

– I’ve been thinking about the decision all day. I don’t think it makes sense to play. I’m sad to have to say this, Nadal said.

On Wednesday, Nadal beat in the quarterfinals By Taylor Fritzbut the Spaniard suffered from severe pain during the match.

The first place will play for the second place in the final on Friday Novak Djokovic and Cameron Norrie.
