Radiohead: Philip Selway hints at new music – “we’re getting to that point”

After a long break, Radiohead are probably considering a reunion and new creative developments.

Philip Selway, Radiohead’s drummer, has hinted that the band would slowly get back to “that point” of getting back together after a three-year break to create new music together. During the previous break, the band members wanted to concentrate on individual projects.

In a livestream show, the musician explained Radiohead’s possible return with the words: “We actually had a little break [seit 2020]. The last concert we gave was in 2018. But we’re getting to this point again now. There’s just something special about our relationship, this creative and personal relationship, that you can’t get anywhere else.”

The 56-year-old continued: “We all get to this point again and now we think, ‘Okay, we took a break – and it’s good now.’ This feels like we should dive back in and really explore what other directions it can take us.”
