Radio Nova’s Morning is the most listened to morning program in Finland. The program, which has been made for more than 6.5 years, is presented Minna Kuukka and Aki Linnanahdebut not for much longer.
– I’ll stop. There is no drama involved in this, but at the beginning of June I informed the team and a few others inside the house that I have decided to quit, Linnanahde tells Iltalehte.
Linnanahti and Kuukka’s last morning broadcast will be heard on November 30. After that, Linnahetta is no longer heard in the mornings. Bauer Media will tell you more about the patterns of the morning later.
Linnanahde is not completely leaving Nova, but she will be heard on Nova’s afternoon in the summer, and she consults Bauer Media regarding content.
Otherwise, the future plans are clear.
– I want to invest in writing and podcasting. I want to change the emphasis of my work palette.

Linnanahde has also written books as an ex-hockey player Jere from Karalahti and a former crime boss Keijo from Vilhuse.
Linnanahde says that she is not just ending her morning radio job, but that the whole phase of her life is changing. Today, he is the parent of adult children, only the youngest lives at home.
– Family life with children has changed to parenting adult children. The children visit the village on weekday evenings, watch TV and don’t have to go to bed early anymore. Because of the morning radio, I have to go to bed at 9 p.m., so I feel like I’m missing out on a lot with the kids. And of course social capital is freed up anyway.
Aamuradio has tied Linnanahti to Helsinki, but now she can work elsewhere.
– It gives a lot of freedom.
Linnanahde had been thinking about quitting for some time before telling Nova about it in June. Before that, he had talked about it with his family.
– Of course, I was nervous about how my departure would be received. I have seen how in similar situations the person leaving can become persona non grata. This did not happen to me, but everyone at Bauer took it well. Tells about the iron professionalism of the management and the morning team.
Today, Radio Nova’s morning is the most listened to morning program on commercial radio. In Finnpanel’s national radio survey, Radio Suomipop’s Aamulypsy came second.

Morning milking started already 16 years ago, Linnanahde and Kuukka have been doing Radio Nova’s morning since 2016.
– We came from quite a long way back.
Linnanahde has had a long career in the media world. He started his work in radio in 2001 at Sport FM, from where he moved to Radio City.
After City ended, Linnanahte’s radio career continued with Radio Rock. The Heikelä-Linnanahde Korporaatio was later awarded at Radio Gala as the radio program of the year.
Linnanahde has also worked on television. Enbuske & Linnanahde Crew were awarded the best talk show at Venla in 2014.
