The GigaG run also started on the Raadhuisplein on Sunday morning. The participants in this part of the Cascade run ran a lap of 1 kilometer through the center of Hoogeveen.
The field of participants is always very diverse, as anyone with any kind of disability can participate in this run. It was so easy for the fastest participants.
But in the end, this run is more about taking part than about time. There were also a lot of beaming faces at the finish line.
