Comedian Rob Kamphues and former racing driver Tom Coronel will enter the theater for the next two months without analyst and presenter Rob van Gameren. The three men would be on stage until the end of March with Het Grote Grand Prix Circus II.
But Van Gameren had to decide to cancel the tour the day before kick-off due to private circumstances, Kamphues says. “We quickly rewrote the show and people still get a great night,” he promises. “Although of course we would have preferred to have Rob there.”
In The Grand Prix Circus II, the men take the audience behind the scenes of the wildly popular motorsport. The analysts are known for their contributions to the TV broadcasts surrounding Formula 1. Kamphues continues to make programs for Ziggo Sport, while Coronel switches to Viaplay, which now owns the most important F1 rights.
Many performances are sold out. Tickets are still available for a few theaters.
