Rachel Hazes receives support from her good friend Guido den Aantractor now that she is being taken to court by her daughter Roxeanne. “I keep saying she’s a really, really good mom.”
It was the big opening news of yesterday RTL Boulevard: Roxeanne Hazes takes mother Rachel to court for the legacy of the late André Hazes. It is unclear what exactly is demanded: Roxeanne does confirm the news about the lawsuit, but is disappointed that it has been leaked due to the court date (February 9) and does not want to respond substantively.
Millions of euros
Roxeanne’s spokesperson already questioned Rachel’s inheritance in another case a few years ago, the show section knows. He then said: “She was not an heir and does not administer his estate. Only the children were heirs.”
TV expert Rob Goossens: “Rachel and André were married in community of property, so then you just own half of everything, but not also a third of the rest. If it is indeed about the music, which we kind of assume, then that involves millions and millions of euros for both André and Roxeanne.”
Mutually no success
Kamp-Roxeanne emphasizes that attempts have been made for months to resolve this without judicial intervention. What does Rachel’s bosom friend Guido den Aantractor, the boss of the Story, think of it? He says in Shownieuws: “Apparently Roxeanne thinks something about it and apparently it has to be completely sorted out in court.”
Too bad, says Guido. “I find it extremely painful. I must say: it is known that I know Rachel well and the rest of the family, Roxeanne and André too. I have always said and I will continue to say that Rachel is a really good mother, who would rather amputate her lower leg than financially disadvantage both of her children.”
“Always fighting!”
Shownieuws host Manuel Venderbos puts it to him in surprise: “But they always have a fight, don’t they?”
Guido: “They always argue, but that’s because all three of them also say of each other and of themselves that they have a short fuse. Roxeanne obviously threw a nice punch last August by coming up with a retrospective in Best Singers about her feelings that, on reflection, she apparently had in her youth, didn’t she?”
He continues: “After the death of her father, she felt quite abandoned by Rachel, who in turn thinks differently. It just keeps going and I would love it so much if those three ever find each other again, but it doesn’t look good of course.”
Extremely painful
Colleague Iris van Lunenburg finds it remarkable that Rachel allows it to go to court if she supposedly would rather amputate her lower leg than disadvantage her children financially.
She says: “It is striking that it apparently did not work out between them, because when I read that statement from Roxeanne’s side, they apparently did their best to arrange it among themselves, but apparently that did not work out. That is extra painful.”
Guido: “But apparently: if there is a dispute, then there is a dispute and they will contest that in February.”
