It is not pleasant what Rachel Hazes recently received from Sjoukje Smit. The singer really went all out on the pocket-filling widow in Party magazine, calling her a ‘money-hungry tea aunt’. “Milking it out to make yourself better. That’s what she does. Nothing more and nothing less”, she sighed, for example.
Aunt Ras’s dog
There is one more thing that doesn’t sit well with Sjoukje. She wonders what happened to the puppy Artchy, the dog Rachel raised last summer.saved‘ on the beach of Barcelona. “We went to sunbathe for a day and came back with a dog. Sometimes I really don’t understand people,” Rachel posted on Instagram at the time.
She continued: “Girls next to us bought this dog and regretted it afterwards. After playing with this sweet dog for an hour, they asked me if I wanted to buy the dog from them. I think everyone can understand that I didn’t have to think long about that. Blessed, come to Aunt Ras.”
“Where’s your puppy?”
Sjoukje still thinks it’s a very strange story, she says now. “I think everything is fake about her. Another strange example is that dog that she is said to have rescued on the beach of Barcelona last year. She went to sunbathe for a day and came back with a dog, because two girls were walking on the beach with a puppy and wanted to get rid of it.”
Then Rachel took over the dog. “Nice for the photo and the story, but that’s strange, isn’t it? Where is that puppy now? Did you ever hear about it?”
Negative reactions
Incidentally, Sjoukje notices that almost everyone agrees with her about Rachel. “That I know for sure. I had written something similar on my Facebook page and of the 350 comments I believe two of them said that it is mainly about Hazes’ music.”
She also points out that media experts Marcus den Blanken and Jef Willemsen can no longer watch Rachel without vomit. “So the media critics are disgusted and so is everyone I speak to.”
