Rachel Hazes is suddenly back in the media: she gives interviews to every gossip magazine, is back in front of the camera of Shownieuws and appeared at Paul de Leeuw. “Where I was?”
Rachel Hazes’ many media appearances are in stark contrast to the previous period: for a long time we saw almost nothing of her at all. When asked why she is suddenly back, she answers Party: “A lot of things I’ve been approached about in recent months weren’t about me. And who am I to make statements about that?”
Overkill
Rachel also wants to make sure that people don’t get enough of her, she says. “I knew there were still a number of lawsuits coming. They generate media attention anyway, you can see that now,” she explains.
According to her, you have to be careful that it doesn’t become too much for people. “That’s why I stayed under the radar for a while, because otherwise it would have been a bit of overkill with Rachel Hazes in the magazines.”
Short-sighted
But overkill is actually just hair middle name? We have been bombarded for years by Rachel Hazes’ arguing and the total carnival she makes of André Hazes’ legacy. Not to mention all those lawsuits that the show media can now make into a regular column.
Framing, Rachel thinks so. “Then it is written that I have a strip card at the court. But if the negative people themselves had been in my position, I would be curious to know what steps they themselves had taken. Everyone around me knows that I will always continue to stand for justice.”
‘I have to’
Rachel always has to go to that court, she explains. “I’m sure no one would let this go their way. People can be quite short-sighted in that respect. Until they suddenly start putting themselves in that situation.”
She concludes: “It is tragic that everything has to go through the courts to get to the bottom of the matter. I just want clarity about what happened in my company. People who have their own business will understand this like no other.”
