According to the judge in summary proceedings, Rachel Hazes is indeed not the heir of André Hazes. However, she is still entitled to the inheritance for the time being. “This belongs in a procedure on the merits.”
The high word is out: Rachel Hazes is a fake heir. She cleverly raked in the legacy of the late André Hazes, but according to the will she was indeed not his heir. “When André Hazes died in 2004, divorce proceedings were pending in this court between him and Rachel Hazes.”
Rachel no heir
Speaking is press judge Anne Reitsma of the Central Netherlands court. She continues: “And that means on the basis of André Hazes’ will that Rachel is not an heir. But an agreement was then made in 2005 between all those involved, including the children of Rachel and André Hazes.”
What kind of appointment? “That everything that was in the marital property community of André Hazes and Rachel, that it would be allocated to Rachel. So that means Rachel isn’t an heir by virtue of the will, but she did become the owner of the estate. The question now is: can you call yourself an heir?”
No ban at the moment
The judge in preliminary relief proceedings does not rule on that question from daughter Roxeanne. “The judge said today that Roxeanne already had all this information in 2020. And that means that now, in 2023, she is not entitled to a so-called urgent procedure, to summary proceedings. Because the urgent interest in everything she claims is missing today.”
That also applies to the intellectual property rights that Rachel ran off with. “That’s about the logo of André Hazes, about the songs, about the lyrics. There will be no ban for Rachel to continue with that for the time being.”
Bottom procedure
Roxeanne now has to enter the process of substantive proceedings, the judge explains. And that comes according to No style definitely: “Well, so a mother who has let her very own children grope in the dark for years and deceive can ‘for the time being’ simply continue because ‘too late’. Nobody is happy, so that will be a procedure on the merits!”
Roxeanne is also encouraged to continue on social media. For example, one Gudrun says: “The magic word in the statement is ‘provisional’. Everything is provisional. On to the bottom procedure. Because I assume that will follow.”
Many people don’t understand it. For example, Alegna says: “How can this be? No right to inheritance, but still get everything?”
Not fair
The juice channel Juice Channel finds the ruling of the judge in summary proceedings that Roxeanne is too late for an urgent case not fair. “The reason that Roxeanne waited with legal action is that she first wanted to solve internal rooms with Roggel and her lawyer, only Roggel did not cooperate.”
“So after a long time of struggling, Roxeanne has decided to take her mother to court. So to say now that she is late does not make sense if you have done everything you can to work it out among yourselves.”
For the time being, the concert series Holland Zingt Hazes can continue in a few weeks. And the euros involved? Rachel can enjoy a nice holiday in the summer.
