Rachel Hazes looks with sorrow at how the will of her former lover André Hazes is lying on the street. Weekblad Privé is going big with it today and it doesn’t lie.
The documents that the magazine Privé holds from editor-in-chief Evert Santegoeds seem to simply prove that Roxeanne Hazes is right in the inheritance case she has filed against her mother. This states that Rachel Hazes is not an heir of André if divorce proceedings were to be initiated during his death.
Bad luck
It is bad luck for Rachel, because the procedure went smoothly, says Evert The Telegraph. “It really is the intimate last will of André Hazes that you can read in full and that indeed makes it clear that as soon as divorce proceedings were started, and that was the case, Rachel would not inherit anything. It’s in black and white here.”
What does Evert find most shocking? “That Rachel always knew she wasn’t an heiress. She is playing the murdered innocence in court, but from 2008 we also have documentation and letters from the accounting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers that simply state that.”
‘Very remarkable’
Rachel is not an heiress, says Evert. “Because divorce proceedings had been initiated. That is also the case, that was the case in 2004 when André passed away. Her request for divorce was only withdrawn after Christmas in 2004, but André had already died by then.”
He continues: “It’s all about the phrase: ‘If divorce proceedings are pending at the time of death.’ So she falls out of the boat. The fact that she has always remained silent about this is remarkable to say the least.”
From Roxanne?
Did Evert get hold of these documents through Roxeanne? “Everyone thinks: you got that from Roxeanne! Well, absolutely not. In fact, there are documents in the magazine this week that I don’t think Roxeanne has ever seen. Unfortunately, I have to keep quiet about that, because otherwise you can also make such a magazine.”
Will Rachel lose the lawsuit? “I think it is as clear as a lump for the court. Even though she says they were finally back together, the procedure was still ongoing. That now turns out to be an expensive mistake for her.”
