Rachel Hazes has never been dealt with so hard on TV: ‘She is Pinocchio!’

Rachel Hazes seems to have lost the very last shred of sympathy with the media. In any case, at RTL Boulevard they are completely done with her persistent lies. “Pinocchio!”

It seems over and over for Rachel Hazes. She has found herself in a real PR nightmare as the country’s biggest show section, RTL Boulevard, presents her in front of the entire nation as a lying woman. In fact, she is even called ‘Pinocchio Hazes’ without batting an eyelid. How come it’s enough for Boulevard?

bad blood

Rachel seems to have been particularly angry with the spreading of disinformation about her son André Jr. He suddenly disappeared from the spotlight a year ago and she has continuously told the media that he was dealing with an ’emotional burnout’. The only one who didn’t take it was juice queen Yvonne Coldeweijer.

Yvonne soon came up with detailed information about André’s addictions and the clinics where he would be rehab. She was reviled by the traditional show media, who completely went along with Rachel’s burnout story. Those media are quite upset now that André admitted on Monday that he was indeed heavily addicted.

Liar

The otherwise well-behaved RTL Boulevard seems to be done with it. The show section calls Rachel ‘Pinokkio Hazes’ on its website and the cunning widow also received a lot of abuse in the TV broadcast yesterday. “The stories that Rachel has been singing around in the media all this time turn out to be lies,” said presenter Vivienne van den Assem.

Rob Goossens is unrelenting. “Rachel didn’t really choke on her first lie. We have also seen that in the aftermath of Dear Singers,” he says, pointing to daughter Roxeanne’s revelation that she was pushed aside by Rachel for nine months after the death of her father André. Mother then lashed out hard at daughter.

Rachel’s attack on Roxeanne, however, backfires. She denies the story that she was not there for Rox, but according to Rob she seriously contradicts herself. “Rachel has said in the past that she would gulp down a whole bottle of berry gin every day and be writing that book, and now she’s suddenly saying, ‘No, I was definitely there for the kids.’”

She is a big liar according to Rob. “She runs it all the time as it suits her. (…) I also spoke to someone about it today, namely Rachel’s former lawyer, who is now a lawyer: Bernard Tomlow. He now stands against her in all those cases that she is always bringing against ex-boyfriends and girlfriends.”

Tragic pattern

What does this Bernard say? “He says: ‘It’s starting to become a bit of a tragic pattern, where she turns it every time so that it suits her at that moment. She doesn’t actually look back and forward for more than 24 hours. She just calls.’”

Then Rob holds up the Story, Guido den Aantrekker’s magazine that is friends with Rachel. “So this is last week’s Story. In this a friend of Rachel accuses Roxeanne of lies, but the lawyer says: ‘Those are new lies that she adds to it.’”

Cobweb

It is likely that Rachel sent this ‘family friend’ to Story to harm Roxeanne, but also according to Yvonne Coldeweijer he is a liar. Rob: “Of course it becomes a very complicated spider’s web the moment you joke the whole thing yourself and then you say: ‘My daughter is the one who jokes things.’”

Rob’s hard attack on Rachel is striking, because in addition to his work for RTL Boulevard, he is also a columnist for Veronica Superguide. And in that position Rachel-bestie Guido’s boss. He replied last week fierce on ‘clickbait media folks’ tackling Rachel: “Embarrassing. The truth conquers all crap, just wait.”

RGExactly. That doesn’t make it very useful.
