Klaas Otto, who was Rachel Hazes’ new boyfriend for two weeks at the end of March, was convicted again on appeal for leading a criminal organization. He is the founder of motorcycle club No Surrender and was initially sentenced to 2.5 years in prison. Now, on appeal, that has even become three years.

Klaas reacts

After his adventure with Rachel, Klaas went back to his previous girlfriend and the two of them are now in Spain. He recorded a video message for that in his Instagram stories† In this he responds to the news that he has to go to jail for three years. “Dear Insta followers, my inbox is exploding. Thank you all for your support.”

He continues: “I am now in Spain and I have just heard that I have been sentenced to three years in prison in the Netherlands. I left the club in 2016, from No Surrender, and most of the offenses were committed in 2018 while I was in detention.”

‘Coming in hard’

Klaas does not like that he now has to go to jail. “I was arrested in 2016, so it hits me very hard. I have to let it sink in for a while, but I want to thank you very much for the support.”

Klaas was also sentenced in 2018 to six years in prison for, among other things, extortion, aggravated assault and money laundering. This case is still on appeal.
